I get around 1500/2000 hits a day, and with my site being new I expect it to rise more, I was thinking of Google AdSense Ads might make some money for me but I don’t know if it would be worth it or not. How much money could I make?

Depends on the subject of your site, the use of keywords on your site, and the way you implement adsense. But, it may go up to 10-100 dollars a day if you optimise well.

You can give it a try, its worth it. How much money you make really depends on the number of users of your site and click-through rate. Its very difficult to predict the range. If the ads are very relevant to the users of your site, then you might get a lot of hits. It also depends on the content - some topics are more ad friendly than others.

I can give you an estimate actually, my first blog that got around 50 hits a day - went up around a dollar every two weeks. My most recent blog that gets around 200 hits a day - gets a dollar every 2-3 days.

Seeing as your website gets 2000 a day, then would make approx. 10x that in the same week with adsense. I doubt adsense millionaires exist and I know there’s no work at home users that can make a living off of adsense. Though, it blends and fits nicely with websites and as always - it’s better than nothing.

I Googled around and found an article, hope it helps!

It’s really hard to say EXACTLY how much money you are going to make with Adsense because it depends on sooo many things like what your site is about and does it have the kind of content that will attract high-paying advertisers.

You have to remember that you don’t actually start to earn money until visitors to your site (legitimately) click on the ads that appear on your site so how many of the visitors clicking on your ads is also a determining factor as well!

Some sites do very well with Adsense (even in the millions of dollars a year) while many more sites do extremely poorly with the program (can’t even earn $10 a month). One of the misconception people have about Adsense is they simply slap it in their websites and it will automatically earn them big money — which is not true as evidenced by the many disgruntled webmasters

Your income will depend on:

- the topic of your site (if you have high paying keywords you stand to earn more)
- responsiveness of users to ad (are visitors coming to your site with blinders in their eye or do they look at the ads as additional complementary resource)
- traffic (you earn more with more traffic, even if you have low paying keywords or other metrics)
- how you implement the ads on your site (some positions and colors work better than others)

Experiment, experiment and experiment while developing quality content and growing your traffic.

You could make a ton, if you convert just one percent into clicks you could make about $20+ a day.
