Free classified sites are the best place to advertise those types of products because no one goes to those sites looking for that sort of stuff.
The best way to market clickbank-type products is to develop a mailing list to market them too. I’d suggest setting up MySpace and Facebook accounts, gettings lots of friends and then posting bulletins about various products you think your networks could benefit from.
To build friends quickly use one of those Friend Adder programs. Be careful the way you word your bulletins if they sound too SPAMmy, people will see right through you.
