how come on adsense, you make a penny even if nobody has clicked through?

When you make a number of impressions you get a cent thats how. If you want your ads to bring more income try Adsense Videos it helped me alot. You can read more about Adsense Videos here:
Probably a CPM ad … an image ad that pays based on the number of impressions.
You are getting rent for the space.
